The Association of Orthodox Missionary Action “Basil the Great” is an Orthodox
Christian association based in Athens. The main goal and principle of our Association’s
operation is the cultivation of its members, so that they can develop in Christian knowledge,
piety and virtue and at the same time be active in missionary activities in our
modern society for the spreading of the message of Christ to our fellow human beings.
Our aim is to multiply Christian workers among our people, in a time
indeed when the deepening of multiculturalism and prejudices against the Orthodox
Christian faith pose unprecedented challenges.
